In the past year our small non-profit agency's budget was cut $5,000 while millions and billions of bail-out funds were given to the big banks, the auto industry, AIG, etc. Tell us the truth. Did taking $5,000 from a little disability service organization really help the country in the trillion dollar grand scheme of things? It's a deal announced by Trac-Fone Wireless called the Safe-Link Wireless program and based on household income. If you qualify, the program will give you a cell phone, access to emergency services and 68-minutes of free time every month. Officials say up to 800-thousand Tennesseans will qualify for the program.
